New nail shape! What do you think?
I changed my nail shape!!! I LOVE the look of the almond/pointy nails and was getting so bored of my square nails. I've been thinking about changing them for a VERY long time but was afraid to do it...I wasn't sure if I would really like it on myself, or if I could shape them perfectly. I finally worked up the balls to do it and now that I've done it, I can't decide if I love them or not :/ While I was shaping them I couldn't decide (I'm SO indecisive!) if I liked them more round or pointy...first I did them pointy, them I did them round, then I went back to more pointy and my nails were getting shorter and shorter (which I DO NOT want) and I was like, ahhh must stop filing them! These could definitely look better but I just had to stop filing. I would really like my nails to look like this or this but they are not long enough yet, I really want them longer. Sooo yeah I would love to know what you think! Do you like them like this, should I do them a little more round or do you prefer square? Ps. This is Deborah Lippmann Stairway To Heaven over Essie Blanc!

Question Wednesday - Colors!
Aly at Wonderland Beauty is now hosting Question Wednesday! This week's questions is all about colors, what would we do without all the beautiful colors in the world?!
1. What is your favorite color? How about your least favorite?
I love so many different colors but RED is definitely my favorite. I use to HATE the color orange, but beauty blogging has really opened me up to try new trends and now I really like orange! So now my least favorite color is this brownish green poopy color, I don’t know what it’s called but it’s ugly haha.
2. What is your favorite color in a lip product?
My favorite lip color is definitely pink, but I can’t decide what kind of pink. I LOVE neon pink, light pink, nude pink! I’ve also been obsessed with wearing orange lippies lately.
3. What is your favorite color for eyeshadow?
GOLD! It’s a gorgeous color and great to make blue eyes pop! I love gold eyeshadow because you can have a subtle gold color or a really bright glittery gold!
4. What was your favorite color as a child?
I was the girliest girl growing up and my favorite color was pink! I wanted pink everything!
5. What is your favorite color combination?
I have a lot but black and red comes to mind first. I love wearing black and I’ll usually pair it with something red.
I'd love to know your answers, and don't forget to check out everyone else's links here! Thanks for reading, have a lovely day :)

FOTD Changes (& please answer this poll!)
Hello beautiful people!! How was your weekend? I spent a lot of time this weekend thinking about changes I need to make in my life, BIG changes...I’m going to quit smoking, I’m going to start working out again, I really want to go on a plant-based diet (aka vegan) AND I’m going back to college this semester. I hate to say it but I’m really doubting myself that I can do ALL this but I maybe if I start talking about it on my blog I will be more motivated. But I don’t want to bore you guys...would you be interested in health and fitness blog posts? They will definitely be informative, and I could really use your support! I created a poll to get an idea on how many of you would be interested so please take a moment to answer it at the end :) Enough about that, let’s talk about something fun, my makeup today!!

Faux lashes haul!
Faux had a summer sale last weekend, a bunch of their eyelashes were 50% OFF so I had to take advantage and stock up! After this haul I think I own about half of their entire collection, I looooove their lashes! Check out my previous reviews/FOTDs using their lashes: Heather, Tiny Stars, Colette, Dark Slants, Miranda, Slants, Violet Noir and Crystals. I purchased Feathers, Lace, Pink Flutter and Chloe...you see 6 boxes because the fabulous Faux ladies added two pairs for free because they are the BEST and I love them!!! Keeping reading for pictures of my beautiful new lashes!

July Little Black Bag
This month's Little Black Bag was...okay. I like what I received but I feel like I didn't get my money's worth...$59 puts a big dent in my wallet and I wish I got more items. Why is Little Black Bag SO addicting?!? This would've been my last bag but since I returned the Melie Bianco purse from last month I have a credit for something worth $64 in my next bag. So that will be my last bag because I really shouldn't be spending this much every month, I need to work on self control when shopping online (lately I have none)! Anywayssss check out what I got!

Glominerals Protective Liquid Foundation Satin II Review
I haven’t found my Holy Grail foundation yet, there is so many I still want to try! I prefer medium to full coverage foundation since I have a lot of redness and acne scars to cover up. Glominerals Protective Foundation Satin II is a liquid mineral foundation infused with vitamins and antioxidants. It provides a buildable sheer to full coverage with a satin finish. I decided to try this foundation because I’ve seen Killer Colours use it and her skin always looks amazing and flawless in her photos. I had a gift card to Aphothica.com and it was on sale so I bought it! Overall I really love this foundation, keep reading for my full review!

FOTD Zeitgeist
Hello beauties, hope you are all doing well! Today's FOTD is from my sushi date with my boyfriend last night! We loooooove sushi! Our friend told us about this new place that is really good AND really cheap...and it was! For my makeup I just did a simple neutral look with a pop of purple using my Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV!

LUSH H’suan Wen Hua Hair Moisturizer Review
One of my favorite products to try are deep conditioners for my hair! I have tried A LOT of different brands and unfortunately don’t notice a dramatic difference in my hair from most. My favorite deep conditioner (Macadamia Deep Repair Masque) is really expensive so I’m still looking for a cheaper alternative. LUSH H’suan Wen Hua is for “out-of-condition” hair, my hair isn’t in that bad of shape but treating your hair to a nice conditioner never hurts so I decided to give it a whirl!

NOTD Lilacism
I want to do more nail stamping but I've been seriously failing at it :/ I have over 30 Image Plates and I want to use more designs! I don't know if it's me, the plates or the polish but the last couple times I've attempted to stamp my nails the image never transfers perfectly. And this manicure is definitely not perfect but whatever! The purple is Essie Lilacism stamped with Konad Special Polish in White with image plate SE21 (from the Express Nail Kit). When I try to use different colors for stamping (other than my black and white Konad polishes made especially for stamping) they are never opaque enough (even if they are opaque in one coat)...they look too sheer once transfered and I don't like it. And then when I use my Konad polishes which are very opaque, I try to work as fast as possible and over half the time the image just doesn't tranfer well enough. Gahhh sorry for ranting I just want to have cool design on my nails! Maybe I should practice free handing more nail art haha. Well I hope you still like this even though it's not perfect! Got any tips for stamping? Let me know :)

Inglot AMC Eyeliner Gel #75 Review
I have a love-hate relationship with Inglot’s AMC Gel Eyeliner...it’s a really good eyeliner but I hate applying it. After reading a few reviews this sounded like the perfect eyeliner for my waterline (nothing lasts on my waterline, everything I’ve tried fades in a couple hours). So I decided to buy one of these and test it out for myself! Keeping reading for my full review...

Happy 4th of July!!!
Happy 4th of July to all my US readers! I wanted to do some nail art like I did last yea, (check out my Forth of July tutorial here!) but I've been feeling super stressed over work so I only felt like doing something simple using some pretty glitter nail polishes. The red and silver glitter is China Glaze Love Marilyn, the blue is Julep Jamie with a no-name polish with stars on top and my thumb is China Glaze Lorelei's Tiara. Basically I just tried to use red, white and blue...the glitter reminds me of fireworks! I'm going to use this day off from work to RELAX! Hope you like this manicure, have an awesome day :)

Deborah Lippmann nail polishes swatches!
I really hate to tease you guys but I got these four Deborah Lippmann polishes on sale for an AMAZING deal....that is no longer available :( so sorry! But I still want to show you swatches and my opinions of these colors! As you may know Deborah Lippmann is a high end nail polish brand, a 0.5 oz nail polish usually costs around $18 each (compare that to Zoya which is $8 for 0.5 oz). These babies came in duo's for $9.95 but basically I paid a total of $29 after taxes and shipping - and that's still over 50% off! Deborah Lippmann polishes rarely go on sale so I jumped on this deal! I really like these polishes but I'm glad I didn't pay full price for them (not that I would have either).
