I got this mascara with the Tarte Down To Earth Kit, which also comes with a LipSurgence lip tint, Amazonian clay blush, multiplEYE liquid liner and cute makeup bag (the kit is a GREAT value, I highly recommend it). I REALLY like this mascara, although it’s not my holy grail (I still don’t have one) it is an amazing all natural mascara! Keep reading for my full review!

I’m MOST impressed with the ingredients, all natural mascaras are hard to come by and this is probably one of the best ones out there! It contains Amazonian Clay (duh!), carnauba wax, mineral pigments, rice bran wax and vitamin C. NO mineral oils, parabens, phthalates, SLSs or synthetic fragrances! I actually really like this bristles on this brush, they are short and stiff but coats and separates your lashes really well. Retails for $19, pretty standard price for a “high end” mascara. You can buy this at Sephora or online.
The first picture is my bare lashes curled, the second is one coat and the third is 2-3 coats (I say 2-3 because I just keep going over my lashes until I am happy with the way they look). I like reviewing mascaras like this because I think it gives YOU a good idea of how the mascara will perform! You can really see the difference another coat of mascara makes! Now it claims to "increase lash volume by 121%" - I don't even know what that numbers means but it definitely lengthens and gives my lashes more volume! I love how my lashes look natural, they are nicely separated and no clumps! One issue I have with A LOT of mascaras is smudging - but I can happily say this one does NOT smudge one me!
If you are looking for an awesome all natural mascara look no further! I definitely recommend Tarte's gifted Amazonian Clay Smart Mascara. I need to review my Tarte Lights Camera Splashes mascara, it's waterproof so I can't really compare it to this one but I don't like it at all.
