The Body Shop Coconut Body Butter Review

Lotions are kind of boring to review but I forgot to take picture for the post I was planning on writing today so I thought...what the hell let's review this! This is an amazing body butter from The Body Shop in the scent Coconut! I LOVE the smell of coconut and I LOVE using it during the summer because it reminds me of the days I use to spend outside, tanning in the sun. But no more tanning for me so now I happily remember the good (not so good for my skin haha) old days through this scent! If you're are a fan of coconut you will love this scent!

The Body Shop's Body Butters come in 31 different scents (wow!)...I also have the Hemp Body Butter, read my review here! Retails for $19 for 7 oz or $6 for 3.75 oz...the full size is pretty expensive, I bought this with a gift card because I normally would NOT spend that much for lotion. Comes in a standard plastic tub like most other body butter.
This body butter is suppppper rich and creamy! It's thick but melts into your skin leaving it very smooth and soft. It says it provides 24-hour hydration and I believe it is definitely long lasting! When I put this on at night my skin feels moisturized ALL DAY! Key ingredients include: Community Fair Trade organic virgin coconut oil, Community Fair Trade shea butter and Community Fair Trade cocoa butter. If you don't know what Fair Trade means here's what The Body Shop says:

"Our Community Fair Trade organic virgin coconut oil comes from the Polynesian island of Samoa. Our trade with Women in Business Development Inc supports several community projects, which include teaching local farmers and producers new skills in agriculture, business planning and management. To find out more, visit our Community Fair Trade section."

I love this body butter and definitely recommend it! Smells amazing, contains great ingredients and for a good cause...doesn't get better than that! Have you tried one of The Body Shop's body butters before? Thanks for reading!
