NOTD Chevron Fail

Hello lovelies! So I watched this Chevron Inspired nail tutorial and really do to try it BUT Scotch Tape refuses to work with me. So I ended up free handing it and it came out a little different...since my nails are not square it looks different and I focused the colors on the tips of my nails instead the whole nail. I'm pretty proud of how straight the lines are but I'm not crazy about this manicure. This doesn't remind me of the chevron pattern at all! I don't like anything I do lately :/ ...oh well! But anyways the glitter polish is Wet n Wild Speak When Spoken To, I absolutely LOVE this polish from their limited edition Be Jeweled collection. The purple is China Glaze Reggae to Riches, I haven't posted this polish on here yet but I love it just because of the name haha. Reggae to Riches is sheer so I had to do two coats. Lastly the dark blue is Zoya Cynthia, which I decided to used because both of the other colors have a blue duochrome and I thought it would bring everything together nicely. Well I'd love to know what you think of this mani, yay or nay?! Thanks for reading :)
