Julep Hayden (aka Amanda)

This nail polish USE to be called Amanda...I bought it (no I had I discount code, I would never pay for full price for a Julep polish) back when I was a Julep Maven maybe 9 months ago? Then I got this polish named Hayden in one of my boxes and thought it looked EXACTLY like Amanda! I was too lazy to swatch them next to each other and didn't really care. Fast forward to now I actually looked at Julep's website and under Hayden it says: *previously called Amanda...no more polish named after me :( Why did they change it? I have no I idea! I guess they have something against Amanda's....

Anyways! I LOVE this color, it's a pretty unique neon peach. It's showing up a little darker in the photo above, it's a little more pastel in real life. The formula is pretty good, just a little on the thick side. Super opaque and only needs two coats! It's a perfect color for spring or summer! Retails for $14 for .27oz (compared to Zoya which is $8 for .5oz), I would not recommend buying Julep full price because you only get about half the amount of polish compared most other nail polish brands.

This polish is even MORE awesome because it glows in the blacklight!!! I was super excited when I found this out because I *thought* it was perfect that it is UV reactive AND it's named after me but I guess not! I love my neon polishes though!
