August Birchbox

Better late than never! This month is all about going back to school with some beauty supplies! Seems like the perfect box since I just started school again but I feel like this box is seriously lacking. FIRST how come everyone else got a razor and I didn't?!? I was hoping to get one because I can always use a new razor! Also some people got an entire box full of q-tips and I only got 4 glued to a card (but I know a lot of people got this too)! Another perfume sample and candy bar...the only things I'm excited about are theBalm Stainiac and Sumita Brow Base...

 
theBalm cosmetics Stainiac:

This is a tinted gel two-in-one lip and cheek stain that gives you a natural flush. I really like this on my lips, I haven't tried it on my cheeks yet. I'm always nervous to use stains on my cheeks for some reason. I definitely won't pay full price for this ($17) because I always see theBalm products at Marshalls for super cheap.

LARABAR uber Apple Turnover Bar:

I don't really like getting FOOD in my BEAUTY subscription box, but whatever it tasted good. At least it's a healthy snack!

Beauty Fixation Make Up Remover:

I really like these because I use q-tips (with my saliva lol) everyday SO this is definitely much more sanitary! These contains aloe vera to nourish your skin while gently breaking up long-wear makeup. I haven't tried this with waterproof makeup yet but it works really well with regular makeup (<-what is 'regular' makeup? haha you know what I mean!). You can buy these for $5 for 24 applicators.

Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy La Fleur:

Smells good...

Sumita Brow Base:

This is my favorite product this month! This Brow Base conceals discoloration and any stray hairs and keeps eye shadows crease-free. Contains vitamin-E and creates a smooth matte surface. I used this all around my brow to shape them and make them more defined and I really like the way it looks! I usually do this with concealer but this product works just as well!

I hope next month's Birchbox is better...I'm starting to be not as excited as I use to be :/ I will only continue if this is still fun and this month was pretty disappointing. On the bright side I do love that Sumita Brow Base and it's full size. Did you like your Birchbox this month???
