A portion of proceeds from each box will go to help doggies-in-need.
How much does it cost?
1 month for $25
3 months for $63 (which would be $21/month)
6 months for $102 (which would be $17/month)
*Use my referral code for $5 off your subscription: amleh045 (I receive a free box for every subscriber I refer, Ruckus thanks you in advance :D)
You can cancel your subscription at any time.
Shipping:
BarkBox ships on the 15th of each month from New York City via USPS and FedEx. If you sign up before the 10th of the month you’ll receive your BarkBox that month. Shipping is FREE in the US and $5 for Canada. You can’t track your shipping yet, they are working on it.
For a Good Cause:
Barkbox is committed to giving 10% of each box they ship as a donation to a local shelter or rescue. There are approximately 7 million animals entering shelters every year, each month you’ll hear about a shelter they’re sponsoring and how BarkBox is supporting their efforts.
June BarkBox 2012:
Tumbleweed & Eddie's Double Nut Super Boost:
These treats are grain free and packed with vitamin rich and antioxidant superfoods. I love these for Ruckus (and he loves them too) becaue they are ALL NATURAL. They have a bunch of different flavors on their website and they only $5.95 for 6 oz (free shipping).
Stella & Chewy's Super Beef Freeze-Dried Dinner:
This freeze dried food is made from only the best all-natural ingredients. A raw diet can help improve appetite and digestion, stamina and vitality and it helps support a healthy immune system for your dog. These are available in 6 oz (12 patties) or 16 oz (32 patties) - I don't know how much they are because they don't sell them on their website but their are a bunch of retailers near me if I ever want to. Ruckus already tried to eat it haha but I'm saving it for a special day, I'm sure he'll love it.
Mr. Barksmith's Cool Treats:
Oh man Ruckus is going to LOVE this! He loves ice so I bet he'll go crazy over something with flavor. This is an all natural frozen smoothie for dogs, just freeze it and give it your dog to enjoy! A pack of 6 cups is $7.99, with different shipping options are their website.
Farfetched Soggy Paws Super Absorbent Towel:
A fancy towel to dry off your dog haha! A plain old towel works just fine but this is cool too! I love that is has pockets to put your hands in to make drying a little easier. These aren't available on their website and it doesn't say how much they cost at retailers. I googled it and it looks like a small size might be $12 and a large (which is what I got) is $18.
Safemade Gimme Gummy:
Last but not least, Ruckus favorite thing - he took this out of the box and ran before I could take off the packaging (notice it's a little chewed up above haha). He has a couple toys like this, like a Kong but I'm not sure if you can bake/freeze treats inside like this one. It is made of food-grade silicon and is safe for the freezer, oven and dishwasher. I never knew they had recipes you can bake/freeze, that would keep Ruckus entertained for a while so I really want to try some! Retails for around $10.
This is Ruckus and I's first month with BarkBox and we are SO pleased! I bought the monthly subcription for $25 (but had a coupon code for $5 off...use my code: amleh045 for $5 OFF your order) but I want to get the 6 month subcription as soon as I have the money. Shipping was super fast...the 15th was Friday and I received the box Monday (that's going from NY to Cali). I'm also very happy that all the treats were natural - I only feed the best to my boy! As far as value I definitely got my money's worth, I don't know the exact prices of everything but it was well over the $20 I paid.
I couldn't resist one more picture ^look at his tounge haha! Sooo what do you think of BarkBox?! I love it and can't wait for next month! Ruckus and I want to know your thoughts - will you be getting one for your dog too?!
