I had heard of Little Black Bag before but thought $49.95/month was too expensive for me. WELL I was in dire need of a new purse, so I decided to explore Little Black Bag and fell in love with so many items! And it was my birthday last week so this was my birthday present to myself! Now I'm seriously obsessed with the site (and trading items was so fun) and that's not good for my wallet! We'll see if I'll be able to afford bag in my budget but first check out what's in my first Little Black Bag!
If you haven’t about Little Black Bag yet…first you take a style quiz to see what your bag style is, mine is the “Little Sparkle Bag.” You get to choose your first item then stylists will pick 1-3 more items they think you’ll love. Then the fun part starts, if you don’t like what the stylists picked you can trade it for something else! All you need to do is find something else you like, offer what you want to trade for it and cross your fingers someone will want to trade with you! You have 7 days to trade with people and once your happy with everything in your bag you can ship it! You can skip a month, cancel at any time and exchange/return items for free within 60 days. You will get 2-4 items worth at least $100 for $49.95/month.
This is the item I picked out, a Street Level Stripe Tote with Buckle that retails for $74! I LOOOOVE it! I picked this because I really needed a new purse, I've been using the same with for over 6 months. I thought this one was SO cute, the perfect size, it comes with two straps and has interior pockets.
I love the design inside! My purses need to have at least one pocket inside but this has 3 and it's perfect!
It goes perfect with my usual attire: BLACK! You can wear it over the shoulder or....
You can wear it as a cross body! I prefer wearing it this way because I like have my arms free!
And these are the two items I ended up with after trading, 'ZAD Spike Earrings and Necklace! The stylist picked out different pair of earrings and necklace...I didn't really like them so I started offering lots of trades. I really wanted some Betsey Johnson jewelry but since the items I had were under $20 and Betsey Johnson retails for $40 or more obviously no one would trade me :( but that's okay!
Here's what they look like on! I was happy I was able to trade for matching earrings and necklace but now that I put them on together I feel like they are too much. Know what I mean? I just feel like they are both competing for attention so I don't think I will ever wear them together.

That's it for my Little Black Bag! I received 3 items that retail for a total of $104 for only $49.95. I love everything I got! The site is so much fun and I definitely recommend it! Shipping was super fast too, I shipped my last Thursday and it arrived on Tuesday (Monday was a holiday). I hope I'll be able to get another bag this month because there are SOO many items I want!
