Inglot AMC Lip Gloss 541 Review

Hey guys, hope you are all doing well! I want to share a really unique lip gloss by Inglot with you today! When I first laid eyes on this and swatched it in stores, I was completely in awe and knew I had to have it! These awesome lippies are called AMC Lip Gloss by Inglot. AMC stands for Advanced Makeup Components, not sure what this means exactly but this is a term coined by Inglot to describe their signature formulation for their high impact color makeup. These AMC lip glosses come in six different colors and have an really amazing opalescent/duochrome effect. I only have this color, 541 but I would love to collect them all because they are so freaking cool!

I love the packaging but I'm totally drawing a blank right now and forget what this rainbow effect is called...how it changes colors in different angles of the light. Prismatic? Holographic? Well not all Inglot boxes come like this, I think this is especially for the AMC lip glosses, since they are prismatic/holographic as well!
Comes in a standard plastic tube with a doe foot applicator. It is $16 for 0.17 ounces, kind of expensive but you won't find a dupe of this color at the drug store so I think it's well worth it!
The formula is not sticky or goopy, it feels very smooth on my lips. Unfortunately since this lip gloss isn't very thick, it's not very long lasting either. The color fades after 2-3 hours, then it just look like you have a clear lip gloss on. It doesn't dry out my lips though, they still feel smooth and moisturized after a couple hours of wear.
Now look at this crazy color! Not what you were expecting right? It's so hard to describe and truly capture it's awesomeness on camera but it's a purple/blue/pink opalescent color. The swatch on the back of my hand (taken in my light box) looks like a iridescent neon violet. WARNING: swatching may lead to obsessively swatching over and over again, it's so cool to see the color change from clear to this bright violet color. I swatched the other colors in stores so many times haha...number 544 changes color from orange to pink, it is so amazing I have to get that one next!
This lip gloss is VERY sheer, not opaque not all. The swatch on my bare lips above is taken in direct sunlight. I honestly don't mind that this color is sheer though, it's more wearable this way. It still gives a cool effect on the lips and it will also change color depending on what you layer it over. I tried layering it over a blood orange lipstick and it turned into a berry color with this on top.
The main reason I decided to get this color first is because I had a strong feeling it glows under a blacklight but I needed to test in out myself! As you can see it glows nice and bright in the tube...but not on the lips :( since it is so sheer. I am so sad, I was really hoping for crazy glowing lips under the blacklight! No swatches on the hand/lip because it was just dark. I WISH it looked way the it does in the tube on lips!
Here's a full face picture so you can get a better idea of what it looks like on. The color definitely looks more violet than anything, not my favorite on me but I love it because it's unique and futuristic. OMG I have to tell you guys what my boyfriend said when I first put this on! He said it looks like an "alien's vagina" hahahah! I was laughing so hard, I don't know how he knows what an alien's vagina looks like but I thought that was a pretty funny way of describing it!

I love this lip gloss and definitely recommend it if you are looking for a unique iridescent/opalescent/prismatic/duochrome color! Even though it's not super opaque or long lasting, the color is so awesome you just have to have it. You can purchase this online or any Inglot location. Thanks for reading!
