Orange is the opposite of blue on the color wheel, which is why using orange eyeshadow is suppose to make blue eyes pop. However I rarely use orange eyeshadow, it's a pretty intimidating color and I'm always stuck on how to use it! Meredith's tutorial was very helpful and inspired me to use orange! I also used Sugarpill Goldilux in the center of my eyelids and I LOVE how it looks...truly gives it a "golden sunrise" effect.
I used natural lighting in all the photos but you might notice my background is different. I usually take pictures in my living room because it gets the most sunlight (but I've come conclusion the lighting sucks EVERYWHERE in my house) BUT my roommates where watching TV, so I wasn't going to stand there in the living room like..."oh don't mind me, I'm going to stand against this wall and take 50 pictures of myself" LOL. So I took these in my bedroom in front of the window, but I feel like I look too washed out. All I did editing wise was sharpen and adjust the exposure...I just feel like these pictures look weird, or do they look okay? What do you think?

Faux Heather Review:
Faux just released their spring 2012 collection, Starlette Muse! The collection includes three brand new eyelashes...Heather, Cristina and Florence. The lovely ladies at Faux included the Heather lashes in my last order for free, it was a very nice surprise! These are very natural looking lashes, the unique shape adds extra length to the outer corner, lifting the eye for a soft, youthful effect. As with all Faux lashes, these are amazing quality! I had to trim them because they were a little to long, but they were very easy to apply. They are light and I could barely feel them on. The only reason I'm not crazy about these lashes is because they are short. I'm blessed with fairly long lashes, so my real lashes are longer than the inner corner of these false lashes! So I think Heather is best for people with short eyelashes. They are $12 and can be purchased at fauxlash.com.
Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed this look and review!
