Cult Nails Scandalous + Captivated

Cult Nails had a one day only sale back on April 7th for 50% off all their nail polishes except limited edition ones! I had to take advantage because I'm ALL about sales and this was the perfect opportunity to finally make my first Cult Nails purchase! They are going to have another sale soon because a few polishes were already sold out - like Cult Nails Facebook or follow them on Twitter to find out when the next sale will be. Their polishes are normally $10 but during the sale they were only $5, limit 3 per person! I can't wait for the next sale!

These are the three polishes I ordered, I'll show you guys Living Water soon. I loooove the way they package each nail polish! As known as: nail polish BURRITOS!!! They are so cute and arrived safely to my house from all the way across the country (Cult Nails is in Florida, I'm in Cali)!  I received these babies on Saturday and immediately took pictures and painted my nails with Scandalous and Captivated :D
Scandalous is a pastel coral jelly. Since it is a jelly is was a little bit on the sheer side, I used three coats here for opaqueness. The formula was excellent though, perfectly smooth with no issues. Scandalous is a part of Cult Nails' newest collection, Divas and Drama. I really want Seduction (which is limited edition) but I had to budget myself for this first order. I absolutely love this coral polish though!
Captivated is a coral jelly polish packed with intense gold and coral glitter. The formula was a little on the thicker side but I didn't have any issues applying it. The glitter spread easily and evenly over the nail. I only used one coat of Captivated on top of Scandalous here, I knew these two would be a perfect combination! I didn't swatch Captivated alone because I was too excited to wear this combo but according to Temptalia it is opaque in three coats.

Seems like the formula of these polishes did not like Seche Vite as the top coat because I experienced immediate tip shrinkage. It was kind of weird because I usually don't see any tip shrinkage until the next day. But other then that I'm on day five of this manicure and not a single chip in sight! I really want to try their top coat, Wicked Fast - hopefully I can get it during the next sale! What do you think of these nail polishes? Gorgeous right?!
