Happy December! I don't know about you but I'm definitely not ready for Christmas to arrive, I know these next couple weeks are going to flyyy by! Today I have a look I created for the Facebook group, Never Too Much Sparkle! Each week the group has a new theme for a weekly makeup showcase you can participate in! I love doing these, it keeps me inspired and motivated to try something new with my makeup. This week's theme is Old Hollywood. I immediately thought of the glamorous Marilyn Monroe, so she is the inspiration for my look!
This look is so simple, but oh so classy! All you need is a flawless face, a little contour in your crease and red hot lips. By the way, I DO have a beauty mark right there! You probably never see it because it's very light and foundation pretty much hides it all together but I knew I had to enhance it for this look! Marilyn's beauty mark is on the opposite side to mine. I don't know why I've been hiding it all these years. I love it and I think I'm going to let it shine more often now ;)
Oh and I even decided to curl my hair!!! This was my first time curling my short hair, I thought I would totally fail but it's not too bad (well, I cheated and didn't curl the back since it was just for the pics hehe). But I think it pulls the look together wonderfully!

If you're on Facebook you should totally join Never Too Much Sparkle! I joined a couple weeks ago and lurked around for awhile but I've been trying to be a teenie bit more active now, and obviously decided to participate in a theme. It's so hard to keep up with all these social media sites...I can barely keep up with Twitter, Facebook, Beautylish and a bunch of blog reading. I don't know how everyone else does Youtube, Makeup Bee, Pinterest, Klout, Tumblr and soo many other sites...I guess I just can't hang haha! I hope you enjoyed this look and thanks for reading, muah!
