EcoTools Beautiful Expressions Kabuki Set Review

I've heard so many great things about EcoTools and finally made my first purchase! This is the EcoTools Limited Edition Beautiful Expressions Kabuki Set, which contains four brushes made of recycled aluminum and cruelty-free taklon bristles. I was actually planning to buy the Bambo Bronzer Brush but I saw this set and decided to get it instead! The brushes look soo cute, and I knew I would put them all to good use. The set includes a conceal, bronze, contour and buff kabuki brushes, everything you need for a total face makeover! (Note: in the picture above the brushes are labeled incorrectly, swap the bronze and contour brush...I must have put them back wrong for the photo, oops!). Available at Target, Walgreens, Ulta and other locations for only $14.99, great price for these wonderful brushes! This set also limited edition, I have no idea how long they will be available so get it while you can! Every single one of these brush is super soft and work really well! I've using these in different then how they are labeled, so I'll review each brush individually...

Conceal:
This is my favorite brush of them all! I love that bristles are compact which makes the brush quite firm. I always perfer firmmer brushes rather than flimsy ones because they do a better job. This brush blends concealer well and could probably be used with liquid foundation too. But I've actually been using this brush to contour! This is the smallest brush and it fits perfectly into the crevice of your cheekbones.

Bronze:

I've been using this brush to apply my mineral foundation. I just swirl the brush into the foundation, buff it onto my face and it works great! My Bare Minerals Kabuki brush is really rough now, I need to toss it but I just can't bring myself to throw it away lol! I think this kabuki is definitely a multipurpose brush, can be used with any powder. It is just the right size, so if you want to use it with your blush, bronzer or highlight it will work great!

Contour:
This is the contour brush and I've been using it to apply my blush the most! This brush is almost a little too flimsy for my liking, if the bristles were a little more compact/firm it would be perfect. However it still applies blush well, but I don't think it's as good the the conceal brush for actually contouring.

Buff:
I love this flat-top brush for apply my translucent powder! I apply it in a circular motion all over my face. It can also be used to buff out any harsh lines, making sure your blush or bronzer looks very natural on your face. This brush is the perfect finishing touch to smooth and remove excess powder for a flawless finish!

I think this is an excellent set of kabuki brushes for a great price, I highly recommend them!!! Each of these brushes is very versatile, you can use them any way that works best for you, just like I did. Also since they are small they are perfect for travel! All the bristles are super soft and perform flawlessly! And how cute are the designs on the handles, adorable and eco-friendly! On a side note, I was reading over this post and about to publish it when Blogger deleted everything out of nowhere, super annoying! I think I'll be writing my drafts in Word then copy and paste them because I don't have time to write everything twice. I wasn't as thorough the second time writing this because I have a huge pile of work to do :( I hope it is still helpful!
